Strand test

We apply a little colour to a sneaky strand to preview how your hair will take it (spoiler alert: it’s all about ensuring a flawless finish).

Elasticity test

A gentle stretch lets us check your hair’s strength and bounce. If it needs a little boost, we’ve got bond-building treatments that work wonders.

Porosity test

We’ll see how thirsty your hair is for colour and how well it holds on to it. This helps us tweak the technique and product for ultimate results.

Scalp & hair check

Patch test. New to hair colour, or not had your hair coloured with us for 6 months or more? If you decide to book, we’ll do your patch test during your consultation, 48 hours or more before your colour appointment. Had your consultation on video? Pop into either salon for it.
